Tremendous Success for Scoil Pól in Basketball SPBBTeam sml

On Monday 4th April, Scoil Pól’s u16 and u19 Boys Basketball teams played the South West Regional Final. It was a tremendous achievement for both age groups to be represented in both finals and a first for Scoil Pól. The u16 team played the Abbey from Tipperary Town and the u19 team played St Anne’s Community College, Killaloe.

Both teams would like to thank St Anne’s for hosting both finals in their school. The boys put on outstanding performances in both finals and Scoil Pól are extremely proud of their dedication, determination and focus, not just in these games but all year. Many thanks to Ms Kelly McHugh and Ms Niamh Masterson for coaching the boys throughout the year. They said: “It has been a pleasure to work with the boys this year and incredible to get to this stage of the competition. We have been building this team since some of these boys were in 1st year and it’s great to see them do well.”
