We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Mairéad Finucane as the new Principal of Scoil Pól!
A native of Kerry, Mairéad brings with her a wealth of experience, dedication, and energy that will no doubt enrich the life of our school community. Former Principal of Presentation Secondary School, Tralee, her leadership there has been marked by a strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.
Prior to her time in Tralee, Ms. Finucane served as Assistant Principal and teacher of Home Economics and Religious Education at Coláiste Chiaráin, Croom (2019–2023), and previously at Vocational School Abbeyfeale/Coláiste Íde agus Iosef (2005–2019). Across these roles, she consistently demonstrated a deep passion for education and a strong belief in the potential of every student.
Scoil Pól looks forward to this next chapter, and the future, under Ms. Finucane’s leadership. On behalf of the Board of Management, and all of our school community, we extend a warm welcome to Ms.Finucane as she takes up her new role. Comhghairdeas leat agus ádh mór ort!
